During my stay, I loved how close I was to Grand Mere State Park, perfect for a relaxing day outside, while Nye's Apple Barn offered a charming local vibe just a short drive away. the hotel was comfortable and had everything a solo traveler like myself needed for a weekend getaway, but the cleanliness could have been better.

The suite was spacious with a full kitchen and a comfy bed. Loved the convenient access to Cracker Barrel and local stores!

However, I experienced some plumbing issues. the bathroom sink faucet provided no warm or hot water, and I had to jigger the toilet flush handle constantly to stop it from running. The ice maker in the freezer was out of order, and I found a bowl in the cabinet with remnants of hardened food. Plus, there was a clump of hair on the hallway floor right outside my door, which didn't help the cleanliness vibe.

Had a great time with friends! We enjoyed winter sports like cross-country skiing and snowmobiling, and Silver Beach was perfect for snowball fights. The hotel was well-equipped with a modern fitness room and spacious suites that made our stay comfortable.
